The Pastoral Council is a collaborative body of the Parish Christian faithful whose purpose is the promotion of the mission of Jesus Christ and His Church. The Council works closely with the pastor in a consultative capacity. Through its insights, expertise and prudent advice, the Council helps the Pastor identify, implement and evaluate the pastoral initiatives and policies best suited to spread the Gospel at Saint Bernard Church. Pastoral Council

Parish Administrative Council is the key fiscal advisory group to the Pastor, maintaining a support and collaborative position. The Council assists the Pastor in preparing and monitoring an annual budget, reviewing and implementing an adequate accounting system, ensuring the delivery of the annual financial report to the Archdiocese of Ottawa, preparing and publishing the same report for the parish, developing plans for the maintenance of the parish. Members of the Committee are chosen for their sound judgment, together with business and accounting knowledge.
